To celebrate 50 years of Fiat in Brazil, the company introduced a special-edition Toro 50 Anos, limited to 550 units. Based on the Toro Volcano Turbo 270 Flex, it features Fiat’s 48V mild-hybrid powertrain, making it one of the first locally produced electrified pickups in the country. The edition is distinguished by an exclusive Maximum Steel exterior color, commemorative 50-year badges, unique side decals, darkened grille and wheels, and a black roof. Inside, it receives exclusive upholstery with “Fiat 50” embroidery, suede trim, a numbered plaque, and special anniversary details. Standard equipment includes a 10-inch multimedia system, ADAS features, front parking sensors, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
In October 2026, Fiat announced that a specially adapted Titano pickup would serve as the official vehicle of Pope Leo XIV during his visit to Uruguay. Developed in cooperation with Stellantis partner Nordex in Montevideo, the vehicle was modified to meet Vatican requirements, featuring open sides, a height-adjustable rotating seat for the pontiff, auxiliary seating, an electrically operated rear step, white leather trim and a transparent weather-protection canopy. The Titano was scheduled to transport Pope Leo XIV during appearances in Montevideo, Paysandú and Florida from 6 to 8 November 2026. The project marked the second time a Fiat vehicle had been used by a pope in South America, following Pope Francis' use of a Fiat Idea during World Youth Day in Brazil in 2013.
