KUALA TERENGGANU, 7 February 2014 – PROTON Holdings Berhad (PROTON) today introduced its latest addition to Team Proton R3 for the 2014 Malaysian Super Series (MSS), the Proton R3 Suprima S Malaysian Touring Car. Team Proton R3 will be defending their title at the Malaysian Touring Car Championship of the Malaysian Super Series (MSS) 2014 that is set to begin on 28 March 2014 at the Sepang International Circuit, coinciding with the Malaysian leg of the F1 Race weekend.

The MSS will conclude in a season-ending grand finale with the Sepang 1000 KM Race at the end of the year...

The Proton R3 Suprima S took centre stage at the PROTON Sales Carnival event held from 6-8 February 2014.

SUBANG JAYA, 9 December 2014 – Team PROTON R3 demonstrated total domination with a 1-2 finish at the Sepang 1000KM Endurance Race 2014 by leading from start to finish. The No.12 Proton Prevé driven by Tengku Djan Ley & Syafiq Ali took the chequered flag after 181 laps with the No.11 Proton Suprima S driven by James Veerapen & Tengku Ezan Ley finishing in a close 2nd.

Last year's winner, Honda Malaysia Racing Team finished in 3rd and 4th with their brand new Honda Jazz and Honda City race cars showing consistent pace.
