The PT-100 is ASV’s largest and most powerful rubber track loader. It features a suspended undercarriage with wide rubber tracks, exceptional ground clearance, comfortable operation and rugged construction. The PT-100 replaces ASV’s former RC-100 Rubber Track Loader that was introduced in 2003 as a machine that combined high flow, high speed, high lift, high torque and high horsepower in one machine. Since that time the 99.5 horsepower (74 kW) rubber track loader from ASV has become an industry standard for contractors that need maximum power and reliability. The new PT-100 is one in ASV’s full line of newly introduced PT-Series Rubber Track Loaders that builds on the success of the former model. As with the former model, the PT-100 uses ASV’s exclusive patented undercarriage technology with suspension that maximizes traction and flotation while giving operators the most comfortable ride possible. The PT-100 uses 42 wheels in its undercarriage to spread the machine’s weight over the entire length and width of its 18-inch (457 mm) wide tracks. As a result, the machine’s 10,150 pound (4604 kg) operating weight is distributed down to only 3.8 pounds per square inch (26.7 kPa) of ground pressure. That is less ground pressure than that of a person on foot. With such low ground pressure, the PT-100 can work productively in even the worst ground conditions where skid-steer loaders and other track loaders cannot work at all. Ideal for many construction, landscaping, utility and forestry applications, the PT-100 uses front-mounted quick-connect hydraulic fittings and an electronic connector for control of attachments. A hydraulic quick-attach interface gives the PT-100 the versatility of using virtually any industry-standard attachment. The PT-100 also includes one of the most efficient engine and hydraulic cooling packages available on a machine this size. It combines a side-by-side radiator/oil cooler, high-capacity hydraulic reservoir, high-volume fan and a high-efficiency fan shroud. This exceptional cooling capacity makes the PT-100 useful for applications like brush cutting, mulching, pavement milling and others where the hydraulic system is run with high loads for long periods.
