The European press launch of new C6000 series combine harvesters from Deutz-Fahr took place in early July in Croatia, close to the factory where they are produced.

The C6000 models are available with headers up to 6.3m and are at the smaller end of the Deutz-Fahr combine range, below the C7000 and C9000 models. The two larger series were updated in 2013 and 2014, and many of their latest features have been carried forward to the C6000 machines, which will be available for the 2016 season.

The new C6000 range includes four models, all with the same Deutz-Fahr 6-cylinder 6.1-litre power unit meeting Tier 4 final emissions standards using SCR and Adblue, and producing 230hp (rated) and 250hp (max). Models availabe are the C629S and C6205TS – with an enhanced separation system, and there are Autocontrol versions of each, with contour following headers, also available providing four variations to choose from. A 3-speed hydrostatic transmission is standard providing up to 20kph.
